My approach to consultation is ‘Neurodynamic’. The method encourages independence and a guided Do It Yourself / DIY approach, with the client doing much of the work outside the sessions. This ‘home-work’ can be done alone or with a partner, using reminder notes which are provided.

This approach is not a formal course of psychotherapy and it does not offer a cure for ‘mental illness’. The client is expected to be in fair health, and not to be currently taking psychotropic medications (e.g. anti-depressants, anxiolytics) that can restrict emotion.

For more detailed information, see the Neurodynamic Approach page on this website.

These consultations can help the client deal with a relational crisis, or with depressed or anxious mood, whether situational or long-term.

Other languages: I am very fluent in French, and competent in Italian, Portuguese, and German.
